They don&#039;t know. There hasn&#039;t been enough research to identify the protein: it&#039;s only a hypothesis put forth by one of the world&#039;s top researchers into this disease (J Brun). Unfortunately there is no money in researching reactive hypoglycemia...only diabetes. I wish I had an answer for you but I can tell you I feel 98 percent better after switching my diet!

		<description>I totally agree. My son has a Bipolar I diagnosis after Alcohol abuse one night. But he is my child who was always experiencing hunger and food related mood swings. I do the same and have always felt I was hypoglycemic. I guess my mom was, but I never knew it. What protein was missing? I feel like there is still a missing piece. I need to get the doctor&#039;s to see that they are missing this.</description>
